SIQ Gaming Laboratories, Ltd. is a Ljubljana-based gaming testing, inspection and certification body. It grew out of the gaming-technologies department of SIQ — the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (founded 1992) — which had tested and certified gaming technologies for more than 20 years. On 1 December 2022 the gaming unit was spun off into the independent company SIQ Gaming Laboratories, Ltd. and joined Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) as a partner company, retaining its RvA (Dutch Accreditation Council) accreditations for testing, inspection and certification. It is notable as a European lab that also uniquely offers electrical-safety and EMC testing of gaming devices.

A seal is evidence, not a guarantee. Certification means a game or platform passed a test against a standard — it does not change the house edge or promise a session outcome, and it is separate from the operator’s licence. Verify seals on SIQ’s own site.
