Technical standards
The published rulesets a certificate is measured against — what a lab seal actually attests to.A certificate says a game met a standard on the day it was tested — it does not promise any outcome in your session. What it certifies is the RTP and RNG behave as declared over the long run.
Anti-money-laundering & KYC.
The identity and source-of-funds layer that sits at the front of every regulated operator.Before a deposit clears, a licensed operator has to know who you are. That is KYC — Know Your Customer: verifying identity and age, and, where risk warrants it, the source of funds. It is the front door of AML — the anti-money-laundering framework regulators require.
Higher-risk players trigger enhanced due diligence, and genuinely unusual patterns can lead a compliance team to file a suspicious-activity report.
