Definition
The game aggregation layer is middleware that sits between an operator's platform and many game studios. Instead of the operator building and maintaining a separate integration with every studio, it integrates once with the aggregator, which in turn connects to dozens or hundreds of providers and normalises their game launch, wallet, reporting and metadata into one interface. This dramatically reduces integration effort and time to market, and it manages the game catalogue, certification status per jurisdiction, and often a unified wallet contract for all connected games. The trade-off is another party in the chain, which affects latency, revenue share and control. The aggregation layer is distinct from an operator: it supplies content plumbing, not the player-facing brand.
Worked example
An operator integrates once with an aggregator and immediately offers games from many studios; a new studio added by the aggregator becomes available to the operator without a new direct integration, all games launching and settling through the same wallet contract.
