Single Wallet

A single, shared player balance that works across every product and provider on a site, so casino, live casino and sportsbook all draw from and pay into the same funds.

Definition

Single wallet describes the player-facing arrangement where one balance is used across all of an operator's products and content, rather than a separate wallet per game vertical or provider. The player deposits once and can move fluidly from slots to live casino to the sportsbook without transferring funds between them. A single wallet is normally implemented with a seamless integration, where the operator's platform is the single source of truth and games call its wallet API in real time. The alternative, product-siloed or transfer wallets, forces players to shuffle money around and complicates the operator's view of a player's true balance and activity.

Worked example

A player deposits 200 into their account. They stake 20 on slots, cash out, place a 10 sports bet, and join a live blackjack table, all drawing from and returning to the same balance without any internal transfers.

Why it matters

For learners, it is why one deposit covers everything on a modern site. For professionals, a single wallet gives a unified view of player balance, exposure and behaviour, which matters for user experience, responsible-gambling monitoring and accurate liability and reconciliation.

Note: Single wallet and seamless wallet are frequently used as synonyms; here single wallet is the player-facing unified balance and seamless wallet is the integration mechanism that usually delivers it.
