Round Robin
A wager that automatically generates every smaller parlay combination from a list of selections, so some picks can lose and you still get a return.
Definition
A round robin takes a set of selections and builds all the parlays of a chosen size from them. With three picks 'by 2s' it creates three two-leg parlays (AB, AC, BC); larger sets create many more combinations, and your total stake is the per-parlay stake multiplied by the number of combinations. Because the picks are spread across overlapping parlays, one losing selection does not wipe out every combination, which lowers variance compared with a single big parlay, but it also multiplies the total amount staked and the margin is applied to each parlay.
Worked example
You round-robin three selections 'by 2s' at $10 per combination, staking $30 total for parlays AB, AC and BC (each at decimal 3.50). If pick C loses, only AB survives and returns $35 (a $5 net profit); if all three win, all three parlays pay out.
Why it matters
It helps learners understand combinatorial betting and partial cover, and reminds bettors that spreading stakes across many parlays still pays the house margin on each one.
