'Lightning' and multiplier live games (Lightning Roulette, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Lightning Baccarat/Blackjack, Lightning Dice) bolt random multipliers of 50×–500× onto a classic game. The multipliers are exciting but not free: they are paid for by reducing the normal win, so the RTP is slightly lower than the plain game. It is a variance trade — bigger occasional wins, a marginally worse edge.

In Lightning Roulette, a few numbers each round are struck by lightning and carry a 50×–500× multiplier. To pay for that, a winning straight-up bet pays 30:1 instead of the standard 35:1 when it is not multiplied. That reduction is exactly what funds the occasional huge multiplied hit.
