Bonus-Buy / Feature-Buy
Paying to skip straight to the feature — how feature-buy works, what it does to RTP, and where it is banned.
A bonus-buy (feature-buy) lets a player pay a fixed multiple of stake — commonly 50×–100× — to jump straight into the bonus round instead of waiting for a natural trigger. It compresses the game into its highest-variance part, usually at an RTP close to the base game, and it is restricted or unavailable in several regulated markets on harm grounds.
Instead of spinning for a scatter trigger, you pay a set price — commonly 50× to 100× stake, sometimes far more — to enter the feature immediately. Many games offer several buy tiers (a standard bonus versus a pricier 'super' bonus) at different prices and volatilities.
The buy price is set so the feature's expected return is close to the buy cost times a target RTP — often similar to the base-game RTP, sometimes marginally higher or lower. It does not remove the house edge; it compresses a large amount of variance into a single expensive decision, so bankrolls swing violently.
Feature-buy encourages larger, faster, loss-chasing spend and sidesteps the pacing of the base game. It is restricted or not offered in a number of regulated markets — it is not offered to Great Britain players, and it is prohibited under the rules in markets such as the Netherlands and Germany — while remaining common elsewhere.
A buy is a high-cost, high-variance bet on one feature outcome. The advertised feature RTP is a long-run average over many buys; a single buy most often returns less than it cost. It buys speed and size of risk, not better value.
Education, not advice. This explains how the game works so you can read it clearly — it is not a system to beat the house. Every casino game carries a house edge; over enough play it wins. 18+.
