The Remote gambling and software technical standards (the 'RTS') are the Great Britain Gambling Commission's binding technical requirements for online gambling products. Rather than a numbered edition, they are a living document made up of RTS 1 through RTS 17, kept up to date as regulation evolves. They cover fairness and randomness, transparency of odds and RTP, and a strong set of player-protection features unique to the GB market, such as banned autoplay, minimum game-cycle speeds, reality checks and customer-set financial limits. Compliance is mandatory for all remote operators licensed to serve the British market.
