Draw No Bet
A bet on one team to win where a drawn result voids the wager and returns your stake.
Definition
Draw No Bet removes the draw from a three-way market: you pick a team, and if the match is tied your stake is refunded rather than lost. It is mechanically identical to an Asian Handicap of 0. Because the draw risk is taken away, the odds are shorter than a straight win (1X2) bet on the same team, and the bookmaker's margin remains embedded in that shorter price. It is popular in football and other sports where draws are common.
Worked example
You back Team A Draw No Bet at decimal 1.65 for $100. Team A wins and you make $65 profit. The match is a draw and your $100 is returned as a void. Team A loses and you lose the $100.
Why it matters
It teaches beginners how insurance-style markets trade a bigger safety net for a smaller price, and professionals treat DNB as a synonym for the zero handicap when hunting the best two-way line.
