Turnkey Solution

A ready-made, largely pre-integrated iGaming platform an operator can license to launch quickly, rather than building wallet, games, payments and compliance tools from scratch.

Definition

A turnkey solution is a packaged platform that bundles the core components an operator needs, player account management and wallet, game aggregation, payments, a bonus engine, a back office, reporting, and responsible-gambling and compliance tooling, so a brand can go live in weeks or months instead of building everything itself. It sits on a spectrum: at one end a full white-label where the provider also supplies the licence and handles much of the operation, at the other a more configurable platform the operator runs under its own licence. Turnkey trades control and margin for speed and lower upfront cost and technical burden. It is usually delivered on a multi-tenant architecture, and the operator still owns responsibilities such as marketing, and often compliance, depending on the model.

Worked example

A new brand licenses a turnkey platform: on day one it has a wallet, a catalogue of aggregated games, several payment methods, a bonus engine and a back office already integrated, so the team focuses on branding, content selection and marketing rather than building infrastructure.

Why it matters

For learners, it is why a new gambling brand can appear fully featured almost overnight. For professionals, the build-versus-buy-versus-turnkey decision shapes speed to market, cost, margin and which jurisdictions are reachable, making it one of the biggest strategic choices for a new operator.
