WLA-SCS
The WLA Security Control Standard (WLA-SCS) is an information-security and risk-management standard for the lottery and betting sector, issued by the World Lottery Association. It couples an ISO/IEC 27001-based information security management baseline with additional gaming-specific controls covering game operations, system development and multi-jurisdictional play. Certification is offered at two levels, with Level 2 requiring a full ISO/IEC 27001-conformant ISMS. The current edition is WLA-SCS:2024, which replaced WLA-SCS:2020.

A standard is a ruleset, not a promise. A certificate against WLA-SCS attests that a game or system met it at test time — it does not change the house edge or guarantee a session outcome. This is a teaching summary; confirm against the issuer (WLA (World Lottery Association)).
