GLI-19
GLI-19 is the Gaming Laboratories International standard that defines the technical and operational requirements for interactive (online) gaming systems, from the random number generator through to player accounts and financial transactions. It is one of the most widely referenced rulebooks for certifying real-money online casino platforms. The current v3.0 edition separates lab-evaluated technical requirements from on-site operational controls and aligns GLI-19 with sister standards such as GLI-11 (land-based devices) and GLI-33 (event wagering). It explicitly excludes sports/event wagering, which is covered by GLI-33.
Gaming technical standard
v3.0
A standard is a ruleset, not a promise. A certificate against GLI-19 attests that a game or system met it at test time — it does not change the house edge or guarantee a session outcome. This is a teaching summary; confirm against the issuer (Gaming Laboratories International (GLI)).
