eCOGRA eGAP
eGAP (eCOGRA Generally Accepted Practices) is the requirements framework that underpins eCOGRA's Safe and Fair seal for online gambling operators. It is built around three pillars: player protection, fair gaming (including RNG testing and return-to-player reporting), and responsible/fair operator conduct. Approved operators also provide players access to eCOGRA's independent dispute-mediation (ADR) service. eGAP aligns with the CEN Workshop Agreement CWA 16259:2014 on responsible remote gambling measures, so compliant operators also meet that standard.

A standard is a ruleset, not a promise. A certificate against eCOGRA eGAP attests that a game or system met it at test time — it does not change the house edge or guarantee a session outcome. This is a teaching summary; confirm against the issuer (eCOGRA (independent testing agency and standards body)).
